How to Make Melted Snowman Peanut Butter Christmas Cookies

Step 1: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

Step 2: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Step 3: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten each ball with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 4: Once cooled, melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. Dip the top half of each cookie into the melted white chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Place a marshmallow on top of the white chocolate to create the snowman’s head.

Step 5: Before the white chocolate sets, press three M&Ms onto each cookie for buttons and two pretzel halves on either side for arms. Let the cookies set completely.

Step 6: Use a small amount of melted white chocolate to attach two black sprinkles for eyes, an orange jimmy for the nose, and five black jimmys for the mouth on each marshmallow head.
Once the chocolate has set, your Melted Snowman Peanut Butter Cookies are ready to be enjoyed!
