Ingredients

  • 6–8 pounds fresh strawberries
  • 18 ounces fresh blueberries
  • 2 (8-ounce) bars of white cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Start by giving your berries a good wash. Make sure they’re completely dry—nobody wants soggy strawberries! For the strawberries, remove the stems (a quick slice or pull does the trick).
  • Place the blueberries in a small white bowl and set it in one corner of your platter. This marks the “stars” section of your patriotic masterpiece.
  • Line up your strawberries in neat double rows across the platter. Create three rows total: one at the top, one in the middle, and one at the bottom. Leave equal spacing between the rows to mimic the stripes on the American flag.
  • Slice your white cheddar into ¼-inch pieces. Arrange two slices side by side in the gaps between your strawberry rows, stacking them slightly for a fuller look.
  • You can leave your blueberries in the bowl for a pop of structure or pour them out into the “stars” section for a more seamless look. Either way, you’ve got a platter that screams festive flair!
