  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 cup Christmas jimmie sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is combined.
  • Fold in the yellow cake mix until well combined.
  • Carefully fold in the Christmas sprinkles. Try not to overmix so the colors don't bleed into the dough.
  • Use a 1 1/2-inch cookie scoop to portion the dough.
Drop each scoop into the powdered sugar and roll until completely coated.
Place the coated cookie dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
