Ingredients

  • 24 oz peanuts unsalted; salted peanuts works as well
  • 6 squares Almond Bark
  • 20 oz Ghirardelli White Chocolate Wafers
  • 5 drops green food gel (neon green or bright green)
  • 5 oz small marshmallows (half a bag)
  • Christmas sprinkles for topping
  • Red heart sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  • Pour the peanuts into your crockpot and set it to low. This step is foolproof—just toss them in and forget about them while you prep your chocolate.
  • Add the almond bark squares and Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers on top of the peanuts. Cover and let the magic happen. In about 30 minutes, you’ll have a gooey, melty masterpiece waiting for you. Give it a good stir to make sure everything is perfectly blended.
  • Now for the fun part—add 5 drops of neon or bright green food gel. Stir it in until the mixture looks like it came straight out of Whoville. (And don’t be shy to adjust for your preferred shade of Grinchy green.)
  • Turn off the heat and fold in the marshmallows. These little pillows of sweetness add the perfect pop of texture.
  • Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This is where the clusters take shape. Top each one with festive sprinkles and a red candy heart. Gently press the toppings into the gooey mix so they stay put.
  • Let the clusters set until they’re firm to the touch. (If you’re in a hurry, pop them into the fridge for a quick chill.) Then, serve up your Grinch Poop and watch as everyone digs in with delight!
