Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups crushed Oreos

For the Topping

  • Jumbo marshmallows
  • Hershey’s chocolate bar (cut into squares)
  • Extra crushed Oreos for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. This helps prevent your cookies from sticking and makes cleanup a breeze!
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend the melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together until well mixed. The combination of these sugars creates that perfect chewy texture we all love in cookies.
  • Crack in those eggs and add the vanilla extract. Mix until everything is smooth and creamy—this is the base of your cookie dough magic!
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. This step ensures the baking soda is evenly distributed, so your cookies bake up light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring just until the dough comes together. Be careful not to overmix—you want your cookies tender, not tough!
  • Now for the fun part: fold in your crushed Oreos. They’ll add a delicious crunch to every bite!
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop generous balls of dough onto your lined baking sheet. Leave enough room for them to spread out as they bake—nobody likes cookies that stick together!
  • Pop your cookies into the oven for about 10-12 minutes. You’re aiming for a golden brown edge, but still soft and chewy in the middle.
  • After about 5 minutes of baking, pull the cookies out and place a jumbo marshmallow in the center of each one. Trust me, this step takes the cookies to the next level!
  • Return the cookies to the oven for another 5-8 minutes, until the marshmallows are soft and slightly golden. You want that perfectly toasted marshmallow look—gooey, but with a little crisp on top.
  • Once your cookies are out of the oven, while they’re still warm, press a square of Hershey’s chocolate right into the center of the marshmallow. For the finishing touch, sprinkle a bit more crushed Oreos on top.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
