Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ medium onion diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 15 oz sloppy joe sauce
  • 16.3 oz can refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
  • Dice the onion.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper, breaking up the meat as it cooks, until it’s no longer pink. Drain any grease.
  • While the meat cooks, cut the biscuits into quarters and toss them in a bowl with 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  • Stir the sloppy joe sauce into the cooked beef mixture. Then gently fold in the cheesy biscuit pieces.
  • Pour everything into the prepared casserole dish and spread it out evenly. Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly.
